Application.
This implement is a hay tedder and also a hay rake to gather hay or grass into rows. Uses include turning hay for drying and gathering it into rows for collection. Other uses include clearing cut grass brambles etc. for disposal from overgrown areas and dethatching lawns and parkland to improve the grass. Use earlier in the year will allow the tines to pull out the dead growth from the base of the grass and aerate the soil.
An optional bracket is available which alters the working angle of the wheels from 45 to 35 degrees. This reduces the space between the tines and is useful for dethatching and also to gather shorter cut grass.
Construction
The Frame fits to the three point linkage, the large arm rotates to change from the turning to the rowing position. The two large wheels are ground driven by the forward motion of the tractor (no pto is necessary). The rotary motion of the wheels lifts and moves the crop to one side onto fresh ground. It is easy to dismantle the rake for storage at the end of the season.

Category one linkage is standard, the working width is approximately 1.5m – operating speed 2 to 8mph.
