Application
The Levelling Harrow is used for both rough and fine grading, levelling, reclamation and back filling. Pulling the harrow with the two rows of heavy spikes pointing down is ideal for ripping out unwanted growth and levelling ruts. The heavy beam can be turned through 180 degrees and with the spikes pointing upwards it then runs on the two horizontal bars for fine levelling and grading , the degree of which is controlled by the top link. By using the implement in this position, but with the tractor in reverse, it is ideal for levelling, bulldozing, snow clearing and backfilling. The linkage fittings can be altered to give a degree of side shift for working close to edges or banks.
Construction
The levelling harrow /rut/buster consists of a heavy steel beam with a series of vertical spikes that can harrow and level the roughest ground, the edges of the beam drag and level the soil. The fittings for the three point linkage are removable and adjustable to allow the beam to be inverted for finer work and also offset for working closer to edges and under trees.
Specification
Width 1.5m, weight approximately 70kg, category one or two linkage is available, optimum tractor size 20 to 50hp. Extra weight such as sand bags can be put on the beam to increase pressure. Price £565
USED MODEL AVAILABLE £290
